Good intentions fall through the hands of all
Like water through our hands
The maddening sensation of defeat
Always the desire to fill the cracks
And yet the designs of these intentions
Fall through never to be fulfilled
But the essence still burns within
No matter how hard or crushing the fall
We crawl towards a flawed design
We pull on the burning handle
To revel the curtain behind
Over the broken glass and through tattered drapes
To the utter down fall
So where do we draw the line
To stop this unending masquerade

Words hidden
Words hidden beneath the sheets
Never to be spoken just to burn our tongues
And our minds
Laying there for hours in silence except
The subtle shift of our bodies
Just entranced by one another’s body
Words go on unsaid I fingers and bodies
Say everything ever need be said
And yet the gentle touch of fingers across one another
Still holds the words that can’t be said
Gentle kissing and biting are words of passion
Gently rubbing the tips of fingers across the naked flesh
And the scratching of finger nails tearing over skin
Are words of pleasure
The bodies breaking against one another
And the sweat beading over the flesh
Are the words of pleasure, passion and of lust
And yet lying here with you in my arms
And pushing your hair from your face to kiss it
There are still words to be said and yet
Will remain unsaid
